I’m freelance writer, author, and photographer from a small town in Manitoba. I’m also a social media strategist, specializing in fun videos.
I’m a Creative Communications journalism graduate from Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I’ve been a freelancer for more than eight years, writing and providing photos for the Winnipeg Free Press (Caron Park), CNIB, Local Fare, ChrisD, The Enterprise, and Interlake Publishing. I also contributed to Dave Williamson’s book, Changing People’s Lives: An Illustrated History of Red River College.
I’m a social media strategist for the Arborg and District Multicultural Heritage Village. One of my favourite areas is engaging our followers through content marketing on our social media platforms. I was also the digital marketing manager for Viking Motors, where I shot videos and edited videos, and I created advertisements.
My niche areas are figure skating (adults skate too), retro/nostalgia (mid-1980s and mid-1990s), health and wellness (rare diseases, new workout trends, etc.), epilepsy, hockey, football, and general (clean) humour.
